      <image:title>About - Bliss Yoga Studio was founded by Sheila Burns in 2006 with the first location in the Como neighborhood of Saint Paul, Minnesota established in January 2007. Originally the studio offered only restorative yoga, meditation and yoga therapy. In 2011 Bliss Yoga Studio moved to its second location in the same building expanding capacity and adding additional styles of yoga, a retail shop and an RYT 200 hour training. In March of 2020, in-person classes ended and classes continued to be offered via Zoom, YouTube, and outdoors as weather allowed. Then, in July 2020, after nearly 14 years, Bliss Yoga Studio closed its doors. Zoom classes continued through 2022, and Sheila taught yoga in her home until late 2023. As of Spring 2025, Sheila began offering individual/private yoga classes at various locations and group classes at Tula Yoga in Saint Paul. Beginning in February 2026, Sheila’s classes continued to be offered at Tula Yoga at their new location on Selby Avenue. Find more information here.       <image:title>Classes - Pranayama Practice</image:title>
      <image:caption>This class is suitable for beginners and only requires a comfortable seated and/or lying down position. Approximately 60 minutes. Not currently offered. Please watch for updates. Join us for yogic breathing to nourish the body and calm the mind. Each class includes Ujjayi Pranayama and other yogic breathing practices such as Bhramari, Alternate Nostril Breathing, Kapalbhati and the 4-7-8 Breath. Using yoga techniques of Dr Vasant Lad and Dr Richard Miller, participants are encouraged to practice what feels comfortable for them as we gradually increase the number of repetitions and add new practices. Pranayama not only increases the flow of oxygen through the body, it restores our reservoir of prana and helps us connect to a quiet inner space.  The class ends with the Kirtan Kriya or a Guided Mindfulness Meditation.</image:caption>
